I've tried everything! The stupid thing won't eject the DVD I put in it. I installed the ODD Eject Utility and I can't even get that program to run let alone eject my disk. I also read somewhere that there is a force eject in BIOS and can't find that. Tried hitting eject in Windows and that didn't work either. It sounds like it is trying then it just fails....

I figured out the problem when I called up the tech support and they said that it was usually a software issue, not a hardware issue.
Booted up Ubuntu from a flash drive and could pop the DVD in and out all day long.
Went back to my Windows and fiddled a bit and figured out whenever the DVD was stuck in there, all I had to do was to stop explorer.exe and restart it and the DVD could be popped out. So then I reformatted my HDD and now works perfectly, always. It was just on the crummy Lenovo Image that it comes with.
Who do I call to report this? The generic Lenovo Support?
