E520 1143-8NG CPU upgrade

Hello

 

I'd like to know if it's possible to upgrade the cpu to i5 or i7? How could I know if the chipset is compatible or not with a certain cpu?

You can upgrade the processor up to Intel® Core i7 Processor i7-2620M with dual core (2.70GHz), 4MB Cache

actually you can use the standard voltage generation 2 (Sandy Bridge) i5 and i7 CPU.

At the current moment the i7-2640m is the highest supported.
