E520 WWAN adapter turn-on

Hi folks,

        Thinkpad edge E520 has WWAN adpader, For that i installedericsson wwan driver for E520.

But I couldn't find and wwan device in device manager and how to start wwan? Can you help me to do that?

Hi ronakshah,

Are you sure you machine has equipped with WWAN module? Please try to check the spec in quick path.

IF your machine has got WWAN, please use access connection -> mobile broadband to setup

Hi cche0691,

I will checked access connection -> mobile broadband. But it asked for some mobile broadband connection before opening s/w.
My Thinkpad E520 has Simcard connector, I don't know, WWAN adapter is there or not?
I tried with 2G simcard, Is it support only 3G simcard?

Hi ronakshah,

Please provide machine type and telecom's name. Also please note that there is a different in between mobile phone's SIM and data SIM, you should use data SIM, not voice sim.

I d/l g1waa4ww.exe and install
but it shows no mobile Wireless WAN installed in machine.

Looks like 1143ADU does not have WWAN...
