E520 warranty query

Hi all

got a question on the warranty of my E520, its on 1 Year Depot/Express Warranty, does anyone know if its cover by internation warranty? I bought it in Australia but wanting to take it with me to Hong Kong, was looking at Lenovo AU website but cannot find any details on this.

For some regions you might also need to present original receipt to get service, so make sure you keep a copy with you.

i put 1143 in and it returns a long list of country and phone number. I can see Hong Kong is in the list. So in case if something happens, i just called the number listed there? Can I take my laptop to a service center in Hong Kong or i need to send it oversea?

Yeah, you can call the number listed there or take it to an authorized service center.
