Hi all,
I am trying to get Win XP Pro SP3 installed on two E530s and I am running into a small issue. After installing the Intel HD Graphics video drivers the screen just turns black during the boot process and never comes on again. I can still connect via RDP or VNC. I have tried two different driver versions from Intel.
Since there are no XP drivers available for download from Lenovo I have a feeling that the E530 might be one of the first laptops without proper XP driver support? Has anyone else been able to get XP working on these new laptops?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
Andre

Hi altbg,
Welcome to forums and thanks for posting. In regards to your issue the machine you have is the newer ones in the Lenovo lineup. HOwever in this regards reason being that all our support have Win7 support drivers only id due the Fact that Microsft Windows XP has already reached their End of Life for XP driver Roll outs.
I wish There was more we can do on the Lenovo end however it has come to this circumstance. The only alternative i can suggest atthis point is by downloading from the device maufacturer site directly.
I really wish i can assit you futher in this cause but no other alternative can be brought forward other an installing the Win7 for the driver support.
Agagin i truly appologies but do let me know should u require other assistance.
Regards
