EDGE 11 cannot install audio driver in WIN XP

My EDGE 11 has been install Win XP. I have got drivers and install.I have a problem. the audio driver cannot find hardware!! I have try many thing. The result  is fault!! How can I do!!??

i also experience the same trouble as you have my friend.i downloaded Conexant CX20585 as the lenovo site recommends me.i use XP sp2 because its the software environment that we are using.anybody can help with our problem, really much aprreciated.

same problem here.

sound card is working when running win7 but not in xp. currently i have dual boot win7 and and winxp.

it was the first time i installed xp on E11 and the installation went ok.
then installed sp2 patch, then drivers (some did not continue due to problem)..

tried to download sp3 patch, wishing this could be the solution..and yes it is..

the winxp can now recognized the Audio device and now i can install the Conexant CX20582 SmartAudio HD.

Just download and install the sp3 patch from here http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/windows-xp-service-pack-3.html, everything goes perfect
