Edge 14" Win7 pro freezes on reboot after getting the MS update

 Current OS is Win7 pro with SP1 installed .Several times encountered the issue of getting the new MS updates-actually automated process-where am asked to reboot .On reboot the desktop screen is shown after logged in but the PC freezes to load completely .It stays on the sand clock when moving the cursor to Start .The AV-Kaspersky-is not loaded and the profile is not as well .Have no other options than force shut down .Tried the Last known good config without any luck .Had to use the Recovery mode and role back the MS update to make the PC load correctly .

Can anybody help this is really perstering me and am now on another PC .Thanks

hey hsafe,

when the MS update was done, was it via the ThinkVantage System Update?

Anyway, if your ThinkVantage System Update is not at version - 4.01.0015 ; kindly update it and then try again.
