I recently bought lenovo edge 14 with windows 7 preofessional 64. When I try to connect to the LAN connection I am not ablle to get connected to the LAN. The device is working properly as shown in the device manager( There are ho hardware conflicts). But when I use the troubleshoot feature of windows 7 it shows "the driver you are using for LAN connection is not working properly".
My lan driver is
Version:7.7.1002.2009 Release Date:2010/03/16

control panel, windows update, check the optional updates and see if there might be a lan driver update there.
if not, programs, thinkvantage, system update, run it and see if it comes up with anything.

I do not have wireless connection to do the update. I will try your suggestion when I can get connection somehow.
Is it possible to download the updates somehow?
