Lenovo e420 Intel HD graphics driver needs update!

Lenovo needs to update the intel HD graphics 3000 driver to fix the brightness level bug

brightness level 0-1 are in the wrong place, 0-1 are equal to 10-11.     2-15 are normal.

People say its the lenovo custom intel graphics driver problem but the offical intel driver fixes the problem.

the version that we have on our support site is - 8.15.10.2476

what is the version available on Intel's site? Could you provide the link ?

Hi Serge1410

 

The current version i have is 8.15.10.2418. Today i went onto the lenovo website to check for the latest drivers and i saw the latest intel hd graphics driver version 8.15.10.2476. then i went to  lenovo system update  to check for new drivers, it does not see the new graphics card version  8.15.10.2476. so i was confused. 

 

The reason i told you that i saw a new version on the intel site was because i checked it a few weeks ago, it was 8.15.10.2476 but the lenovo website only had  8.15.10.2418 a few weeks ago. so yeah, sorry for using old information.

 

So anyway,  since system update does not see the new version, i just downloaded the new driver off the lenovo website. installed it and now the brightness problem is fixed. very happy now
