Screen issues

Hi,

I have screen problem sometimes with my new Lenovo Edge 13, it will go blank after few minutes but screen saver is set up to 45 minutes, the main problem is it won't go on again even if I press button or move the mouse. Only solution then is to restart and than is normal again. Does anybody has some solution for that...

I have same problem.  I found 2 ways to alleviate the pain 1) set screen saver to 2 minutes and after 2 minutes, press a key on the keyboard and the screen saver will disable and you get the screen back.  2) plug a vga plug into the vga connector and you will get your screen back..

anoher way is to put the computer in sleep or hibernate mode. 

Looks like a hardware issue to me.

It seem's constant problem for me, specially when I use video calls with skype... Hope that somebody from Lenovo has some solution...

Actually I'm going to say that this sounds like a driver problem. I would say try the ATI Mobile drivers however I had problems with 10.6 and 10.7 (lockups, or blue screen when an external display is attached). 10.8 is out now however if you want to try it.
