Thinkpad E420: Restore with partitions changed

Hi.

 

I have updated the paritition configuration from how my laptop Thinkpad E420 arrived couple of months back. So now instread of having One big C drvie I have split it into two. 

 

What I am wondering here is will this have an affect on the restore of the backup from Q drive.

Hi binaykumargupta,

 

Yes, restore won't work if you change the partitions.  It should if you change them back.  I hope you made restore discs.
