Hi,
I have recently run the Lenovo Updates to find that it's causing some Bluetooth driver conflicts. Following some suggestions from the knowledge base to reinstall the "ThinkPad Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software", I am no longer able to start up my machine. Tried "Startup Repair" and "System Restore" but both failed.
Could someone please help besides a factory recovery and lose my data?
I am using an ThinkPad Edge E15 running Windows 7.
Many thanks!

How to boot into Safe Mode if Windows won't start?

hi chrislenovoe15,
Was there any Error mesages that appeared when you boot the machine to windows? What Lead_Org was trying to suggest is, when you boot the up the machine hit the F8 Button repeatedly until a set of menu comes up. in the menu it should deliver these options.
The Windows in Safe should boot up as it will utilise only imprtant setting and disable all other fuctionality.
Do give it a shot and i'll look further into this for you.
