The cable was unplugged, maybe with vibrations. Be carefull when assembly the LCD bezel assembly, don't break the uppers fixation. I have break two af them.

I have the same problem a second time 1 month later. Same issue, but I paste the connector with a very little bit of bison glue.

Hi guys, same problem and after 1 month is the problem back again as by you. I will have to use the glue too, hope i do not break something. I will step very carefully. Do you have ideas, what to do and what not? Thanks

For dissassembling no problem. First dissassenbly down side.
For assembling, take very care assembly the upside first do not push strongly.
There is no difficulty if you do it in calm and in the same way for assembly and dissassembly.

Many thanks. I have had an Edge 11 for about 10 months, and have suffered this problem since almost new. To be honest, I was beginning to doubt my laptop even had a camera (but I was sure I remembered testing it when I got it).
Anyway, I carefully removed the bezel, and sure enough, the camera connector had been dislodged, and was partially out of the socket. On pushing it back in, everything came to life as it should.
Many, many thanks.
