Hi,
Because of various compatibility issues with old software, I had to downgrade a brand new ThinkPad Edge 525 to Windows XP Professional 32 bit this weekend.
Most of it went OK but I had to problems:
1. I was unable to find the graphics driver so the display is set to 768x1024 and there is no way to set it to the native 768x1366 resolution.
2. After extracting the files, the Bluetooth driver crashes at installation. I tried several times, downloading the file again each time, but nothing helps.
The graphics problem is top priority for me. The Bluetooth issue is just formal, because I do not use BT anyway. It would just be nice to have a "clean" install.
Did anybody experience the same problem? Does anybody know where to find the graphics driver for WinXP?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Maliha,
Thank your for your answer, but: no, my E525 has no switchable graphics. It is the entry level model. I found nothing on the Lenovo site and nothing on the amd site.

Hello,
I have the same problem.
lenovo ThinkPad Edge 525 (12002GG).
I can't find XP drivers anywhere for the graphics.
Is there a way to disable switchable mode or something?
By the way, the utility on auto-detect link isn't working for me.

I have a reason. I installed WinXP SP3 on a Lenovo E525 Thinkpad Edge. The Audio driver didn't work and i had the problems with the Radeon 6480G drivers. I found nothing anywhere.
Then I tried out "DriverTuner"and did a system scan. Immediately the Program showed the right driver. The name of the driver package is graphic_12-2_pre-certified_xp32-64_dd_ccc and it is a version of Catalyst Software Suite...The .inf File is called CX133663.inf
Works perfect.
I hope I could help anybody...
