e520 keyboard issue [ Edited ]

Hello!

I have a ThinkPad Edge E520 and lately out of no where I would get a blue screen as well. How do I fix this problem??

And I think there is something wrong with my keypad too. The button underneath the "backspace" ( " \ ') -- for some reason when I press "ctrl" and " \ "--- the long straight line should be keyed in but nothing happens... All my other buttons work but only that button with " \ " doesn't work....is there something wrong with my keypad?

 Do you mind giving us more information on BSOD that you have been getting lately?

It is hard to tell the cause of the problem from the amount of detail you have given us.

 Regarding your problem of not being able to type "|", I believe you are using the wrong key combination.

Instead of "Ctrl" and "\", you must press "Shift" and "\" in order to type "|".
