old webcam with E420

Hi 

 

I have quite an old USB webcam from intex which I am trying to plug in to my E420 but my laptop doesnt recognize the device. Anyone who has faced similar issue before of have any idea about how to resolve this.

Windows 7?

 

The Intex site has drivers, but they seem to be all for xp or Vista.  

 

You probably already did this but reboot the machine without the webcam plugged in.  Once it's booted up plug in the webcam to the usb and wait.  See if windows picks it up.

 

If you already did this, what happened?
