My tablet is a 183825U. I bought it from Buy.com. (includes the stylus even though the website didn't mention that) The card is Lenovo part # 0A36185. This is the same card used in Thinkpad laptops. It's available from Lenovo Store and many online sites. I got mine from Buy.com. Detailed instructions on how to open the case and install the card are in the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet Hardware Maintenance Manual. Takes about 5 minutes to do the install.

I was able to pop my 183925U open fairly easily following the instructions in the Hardware Maintenance manual. The only challenge was loosening the clips between the LCD panel and base but even that was relatively easy once I had the right tool.
My WWAN module is on order but there is definitely a card slot and wiring for it.

Huh... Compared to the pic posted by mmaseda12, my 183927U appears to be missing the antenna in the middle of the right side. I have an open mini-PCIe slot but can't find any antenna leads. ![]()
I don't suppose someone could give me a part # or other eBay-able information for the antenna I need?
Thanks

Can you clarify: you are missing MAIN, AUX, or both antenna?
According to the HMM, both 1838-25x and 1838-27x have WWAN antenna and "3G-capable base cover" (probably meaning the SIM slot).

Under wireless settings you can turn off the 3G radio.

The main antenna cable is red and the aux is blue. They come with clear vinyl caps covering the connectors. Look closely as they may be partially hidden under some of the existing circuit boards.
