We are using the ThinkPad Tablet (1838-22U) for our android development.
We have run into an issue, the micro USB port the Lenovo uses by default for charging is also the same port you must use for the debug bridge. So developers are having issues with batteries going dead in the middle of development.
It seems the USB port charges very slowly (if even at all?) while plugged into a computer. Is their an AC adapter that uses the expansion port instead of the micro-usb?

You can get your computer enhanced with a usb3.0 pci-e card, which has a bigger output current high to 900ma,much bigger than usb 2.0 500ma.Or buy a thinkpad tablet dock, shipping with a regular thinkpad ac-adapter.So that your can keep your battery alive while your development.

I made an AC adapter for the TPT.
All the build instructions are at the wiki.
