The debugger in the SDK can take screenshots. I don't know any way of making a screenshow with on-board means, as far as I know all screenshot apps require root access.

Try ShootMe from the market. Sorry can't link a.t.m. EDIT: My bad, it does need Root. I use it on my rooted HTC Desire...

Really great work, Volker!

Would suggest to write an app for drawing / painting base on your excellent pen control in quill.   The performance of your app penwise is a lot greater than sketchbook pro.   Quill is also doing great job for sketching, but if there is eraser / opacity and layer control and an easier access of color choices, you will have an perfect sketch/painting app. 

I'm willing to pay a lot more than 0.99 for such an app.

My TPT's been in for repairs the last week (dropped it on the headphone jack and got munched inside ) so it's a really nice surprise to see how this has come along.  Great work Volker!  I see the .png export is nearly there too

Great App, after several days using, i am wondering that if we could use finger to turn the page, and also give some shortcut for the pen colors, that would be great!!

Great application! Thanks for writing this, I bought the market version!

Additional features that I think would be nice:

 - option for "screen always on" (like the option in Writepad),

 - customized pen thickness.

 - fullscreen support by blending out the android toolbar, so we can use the entire screen to write.

Thank you for developing this great app, Volker!

For me, the strong points of this app are:

• Vector storage format (therefore e.g. lossless PDF export)
• Great response-time to TPT pen
• Open source software (I bought the market version, but the FOSS-nature gives "peace of mind")

If I had to name the one thing that I'd like to have most right now, it would be:

• Select (rectangle or "lasso") and move/resize strokes

where moving is more important than resizing. Thanks again for the great work, it is my primary note-taking app on the TPT!

Can you add a way that we can save the notebooks and open them at a late time? Or create folders?

v4 adds tagging. Touch the quill icon (top left) to set a filter to only show pages with matching tags.
