Bluetooth DUN Tether?

Has anyone been able to tether the TPT to an android phone via bluetooth? I have the Droid Bionic and I've successfully tethered it to my laptop via bluetooth, but my TPT refuses to connect to it. I've tried these instructions, but it never seems to connect. The Bionic stays as "Paired but not connected".

Re: Bluetooth DUN Tether?

I could tether my TPT to a Blackberry 9800 and I could send a file and store it in my Blacberry's SD.

Nevertheless in my laptop (running under Windows XP) i succeeded in tethering TPT from my Laptop, not the other way around and when I try to send a file, it fails and TPT goes back to only linked but not connected.

My be we are going around to the same problem.

Re: Bluetooth DUN Tether?

I connected TPT to a Ubuntu machine. They can exchange files, but cannot browse the file directory. Not sure why...

Re: Bluetooth DUN Tether?

I followed those same directions with my rooted droid and it worked for me.  One detail that I discovered, if you had an existing profile for your bluetooth phone, I had to delete it and let the TPT create a new one during the pairing process in the Xoom instructions.  It would not recognize an existing profile as "tetherable", but the new profile created in the setup process created a tethering profile and asked me for pass key confirmation on both devices,
