The voltage is in this case the important thing.

The TPT needs around 5.3V to charge well, maybe these supplys deliver a bit more then 5 and are so ok for the TPT.

 

The A(mpere) are only the maximum the supply can deliver.

 

(In this case its a "voltage source")

Actually the charger I posted has 2.1A to one USB and 1.0A for the 2nd USB.

Ah, I missed that. Didn't look at the picture. If you already have it, you might want to try it out with different cable lengths to see if anything changes.
