Did the QTA 2.5 deploy today?

Just wondering if it did deploy. I have a Wifi only and I'm at work on a break and can't access the internet. I'd rather get them over the air then down load and perform all those steps.

i have the same question. also, root-rootkeeper-unroot-ota2-ota2.5-rootagain would work? i'm postponing rooting and updating since a while so that i can do all this at once.

Re: Did the QTA 2.5 deploy today?

also, after root if i don't delete any preinstalled app, only install some apps like hidestatusbar and a full backup app then can these stop me from being able to install ota3 or i should be safe until i don't delete anything? i ask that as i would be happy to use these apps but also ota3 i want and i don't want to make full data reset etc. annoying things just to restore the tablet to a state where ota3 can be applied. i don't mind having the preinstalled apps though, this is the price i'm willing to pay to have easy updates and root at the same time.

The updates only check for system apps so if you do not delete any of them you should be fine.  I like to use Titanium backup to "freeze" system apps that I don't want, that way they don't run in the background and when it is time to update I just "unfreeze" all of the apps, run the update, then freeze the apps I don't want again.

Also Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper should work for all currently released OTA updates on the Thinkpad.

Any status update on the release of OTA 2.5 for the US?  Last we heard it was due out on 08MAR.

Can anyone confirm that the OTA 2.5 has deployed over the air? This is the preferred way for me to update

I have been wondering about this too. I am still waiting for it (US), and it seemed like the conversation about it died.
