I am trying to use the pen as an input device for sending e-mails and other usages. I saw a demo on lenovo where they were using Notes Mobile and Gmail. He was writing all over the screen. That is why I purchased the tablet however the digitized pen is not available as an input device in settings. Am I missing something or is there a driver or additional software that I need to purchase.
Thanks
Brian

You need to download one more app: MyScrypt Stylus from the Lenovo Store.
Then you only need to select it from the keyboard selector on the status bar whenever the keyboard pops up

So let me get this straight - the only way to use the digitzer pen on this $400 tablet is to download an extra $5 app?

No; there are several apps, free and otherwise, that use the pen for input. Try Quill ($1.00), WritePad Stylus (free and supplied by Lenovo), ezPDF, LectureNotes, Papyrus Beta.
