Echo in Skype and GTalk

Hi,

I wanted to try out Skype and GTalk on my TPT but who ever I am talking to hears himself in echo, making the call impossible. I can hear them just fine, so the issue is coming from my side and my TPT.

Any ideas on what can be done?, Should I contact service?

I got a similar problem with gtalk, skype and voice recording, but in my case there is no echo, instead, my voice is heard way too low and far away, and the background noise, or what is supposed to be background noise, is way too loud and clear! Did you get to solve your issue? Can you tell me what you did?
