Excessive Wear on Pen? [ Edited ]

I've been using my TPT for almost 4 months now, and have noticed that the pen is exhibiting excessive wear (paint scraped off and such) where it's supposed to 'lock' into the TPT. Pictures attached. I know it's not a major thing, but it sort of ruins the aesthetics. Is anyone else noticing this?

True enough! I have not noticed this on my pen, but I'll look. I would imagine that it was just a poor job coating the pen, as we have all noticed, the QC with the TpT has been pretty pathetic.

i have this problem too - my pen is very scratched up there - and on some part, it is "rough"

i use my tablet for almost 8 hours a day for both school and work... i dont think the pen is liking the usage
