Full Encryption - Weak Performance & Wrong keyboard layout

I only bought this tablet because of the full encryption, but the performance ist still weak. (I have ICS @ OTA 3.2 )

 

There is also another problem since ICS: The prompt menu for the password always uses the US-layout, but my default keyboard layout in ICS is german.
