I think the problem with Android is that they have to tune their software for hundreds of different products, and it doesn't necessarily work 100 percent to do it for all the products, since there's some upcoming ones, too as time goes on. Apple just has the iPad and iPhone, and that's why it tends to cut off support for any iPhone 3 generations old or older since that's just more hassle. Android is already trying to improve on this as much as possible, but I don't think they're working to troubleshoot their software on each individual device that people have and make constant updates for it. But meh, I think they're attacking that in Ice Cream Sandwich, or let's hope they are and wish for the best.
