Lenovo: Why is the update looking for Busybox?

Last I checked, this is not part of any standard Android, nor is it installed on mine. But the update is failing because it's missing.

Try installing busy box.

Considering that requires Root, that wouldn't be possible.

Sorry, wasn't sure. Not everyone is having the issue so I wasn't sure if you were rooted and uninstalled it for some reason.

Download your last system file at http://download.lenovo.com/slates/think/tablet1/

dezip the busybox from the package and copy it into the system/xbin Directory

-->Update has been successful for me!!

I also have the busybox problem.

I have root.

I copied busybox from last update to the system/xbin folder

but the error still occurs

I also tried renaming it from "busybox.p" to "busybox" but it did not help either.

I am totally frustrated, been trying to install the update for 3 hours now and nothing works....

Guess there is nothing else to do then send the tablet in for repair.

I am not quite sure that it is a problem with the tablet itself but with the update.

Mine keeps getting this error.
Android assert failed apply_patch_check ("/system/xbin/busybox)
I did factory reset but still the same error
The second problem now it cant connect to the router after the factory reset it keep saying obtaining ip number
Any idea what to do
