I just got update notice to download NEW Update A310_02_0039_0089

Is this new? or was it just old and I didnt have it?

It's the long-awaited US version of OTA 2.5.  bsnf had put up the files for users to download and install if they were having specific problems, but advised for the rest of us to wait the over the air release.

edit: installation warning says the TPT must be at >70% charge or attached to the charger for the installation to work.

Just so I'm clear we have to go through the same unroot->update->root process we did for 2.0?

the stuck-email fix is HUGE! I've been hating MailDroid these past few months

Now that you mention the rooting. Is it possible to root the Thinkpad, if so could you direct me to instructions. I would greatly appreciate it. Im sorry if Im a newby to this...

Hmmm... Never had a problem with MailDroid.
