I'll start with the positives: I love everything about this update. Pen only mode is awesome. ICS is great. Everything is great. It's restored some faith in Lenovo for me.
I just have a couple of niggles, the first being the redundant quick launch wheel and the second more important one:
Flash video is horrible.
I've used every browser there is - chrome beta, boat, stock dolphin, firefox etc. and there's no improvement. The specific site I'm having trouble with is http://www.paintballaccess.com/video-on-demand/ , though their live feed is also unwatchable when it's on. Basically the video runs very slowly and laggy and well out of sync with the sound. More than that, the video itself seems to be playing in jumps and starts, locking up so I can't do anything, and everything seems to be in slow motion. On my phone (gingerbread galaxy s plus) it runs buttery smooth as it did prior to OTA3 on the TPT.
Now I'm not sure if this is actually a lenovo problem or something inherent to ICS. I'm thinking that perhaps since Flash is being phased out, it might be a deliberate ploy by Adobe. In any case if there's anything that can be done by Lenovo it would be much appreciated.

I loaded about 15 videos from that site and they streamed flawlessly. Perhap it's your router or wifi setup? the URLwas slightly different.:

By the way Flash is not being phased out. It's still supported and Adobe is currently developing Flash v12.

Adobe have said that flash will not be supported on any android device after 4.0.* , and no new device configurations (including the Lenovo TPT on ICS) will be supported. So they aren't going to fix this.
It's not my wifi or router as the same videos are working fine on my other android devices via the same wifi.
Apparently this problem is common with ICS devices, and as I said Adobe released a fix with the latest updates, but not for the TPT. They say there will be no more.
Is your tablet rooted or running anything other than stock? I'm ROW. And are you sure it was smooth? Get to a part with the commentators talking and check that they're synced to the sound properly. If it works, please let me know what your setup/browser/root config is.
If I can't get this working I'll just go back to 3.1.

Flash as flash movie (swf) running inside a browser is being phased out for mobile devices. The last version is Flash player 11.1. Flash as a native AIR apps on mobile devices (iOS and Android) is still being developed. Currently AIR 3.4 is in beta. Next year we will see a major upgrade.

Did a factory reset. No improvement though it seemed slightly better before updating flash.
It's been one problem after another since purchase. I don't really need a tablet and due to a lack of decent app support I don't use it for the original purpose (art) at all. Might sell.
Only problem is that it's now worth less than half the original price new, so second hand it's worth less than 1/3 what I paid for it less than a year ago ![]()
