Poor Battery Performance Since Update OTA 2.5

Since I updated my ThinkPad Tablet to build number ThinkPadTablet_A310_02_0039_0086_US I have had poor battery performance. (charges slowly, discharges quickly) Has anyone else seen this? Per another thread here I saw that this particular update includes a firmware update for the battery to improve performance, but that has not been my experience.

Does anyone know of a way to downgrade the battery firmware to see if that helps? Or if a factory reset would affect the battery firmware?

Do you mean 0089 - 0086 is 2.0? I've noticed better performance with 0086 & 0089, but that's my tablet.

I thought that build 0086 was considered OTA 2.5. I may be wrong about that. I have not been upgraded to build 0089. The update check states I am up to date with build 0086.

Don't know what your location is, but for most of the 2.5 updates, you can download them from Lenovo's site and install manually. Not sure the US version has been officially released yet, but bsnf posted an early link.

Was able to manually upgrade to 0089 using the link mentioned.  Battery performance seems drastically improved.  6 hrs off of the charger, light usage battery still shows 93%.  Before the upgrade it would have been down around 75% by now.  Thanks for the heads up, pghFL.  And thanks to bsnf for posting the early link.
