Somehow, I don't think Canonical's ultimate objective is to share hardware with another Linux distro. They seem to be using this marketing approach to gain inroads to hardware that traditionally runs Android. Interesting to see Google's take on this since I doubt whether there is anything real here that Android alone cannot do.

Android doesnt have the running Apps or Prgs for Desktop-Smartphones.

Ubuntu does, but ubuntu doesnt have the apps for a smartphone...

Storage: You can connect a USB-Hub to the TPT, with root and apps you can use big NTFS formatted Harddisks.

And with the right drivers you could connect also a Blue-Ray player. 

There are eg. whole small system with ARM CPUs which are able to replace sooner or later

the big old, hot intel/windows systems..

Not being able to connect things to small mobile devices shouldn't be an issue. It's after connecting these things, looking at the rat's nest you've created and realizing you've lost all mobility, that you begin to wonder whether having all contained in a single case, as in a laptop, wouldn't have been a better idea.

Talk is cheap, we've been hearing that for the last 20 years.

The PandaBoard features a dual-core 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore CPU

Severely underpowered and overpriced. Size is its only claim to fame IMO. I have lots of space under my desk.

Nice, what for are you using the Hub?

I did not expect in the past to have a whole SOC with only 1 Watt consumption  in my next device.

The former system was afair around 10 W. 

So I am quite curios about how the story goes on.

For me efficiens is important.

I have 3W LED lights replacing 20W Spots

I have a 15W Netbook which replaced my 100W PC-Tower.

And this one runs all I need at the moment, cause I am not a gamer nor am I simulating

circuits or draw 3-D scematics.

It could be quicker, but longest time the cpu is waitng for me to stroke a key or give some tasks

(around 1.000.000.000 times per second)

Therefore I would like an unexpensive, tested Office Suit on Ubuntu on my android Tablet.

Computer arent green, they are hazardous waste when it comes to dispose them. 

If you refer to  Efficient energy use so its first on your bill.

Green can take many forms, including paperless e-mail statements and notifications. Green is also having your roof covered with solar cells and using the "plug" as little as possible. Green can also be having your head up where the sun don't shine.

i think that ubuntu would be a good addition to the TPT, especially as it is branded as a business tablet. so bsnf or mark or anybody please forward this request to the lenovo officials. it would be good to have the ubuntu app in a forthcoming OTA.
