Stylus Problem??? [ Edited ]

Hello:

I have a problem with my Thinkpad Tablet pen. The pen does not touch the screen but it still has effect. It is very annoying since I need precision when using VNC apps such as Splashtop.

I wonder if this is an hardware or software issue.

Yeah, I've had a similiar problem. I solved my issue by taking the stylus battery out for 30 seconds then putting it back in.... it may help you too

I had a similar problem with a stylus by a different make that is identical to the Lenovo stylus. For me the only fix was a new stylus. The battery change out only worked short-term.

I believe it is some sort of feature as you can hover the pen over links for it to drop down and/or to just show you what link your actually pointing at.

Which stylus was that? I'm interested in getting an inexpensive replacement for my lost pen (just fell out of the holder one day willy-nilly).

Mr. Peter, what I'm referring to - and the OP - isn't a feature, but an annoying issue, where the ink shows on the screen before you touch the screen making writing and drawing nearly impossible.

Just watched the video and it is actually what I'm talking about. It is a new feature.

Found something on it. It's called Hover Tracking / Hover Events.

I also was not sure if it is a bug or a feature - because I did not observe that behavior on 

Android 3.x - and it is present for both of my pens.
