Here are some common points of frequent discussion:

• Avoid Credit Holds - ensure that BOTH your bill to and ship to addresses are listed with your CC bank before ordering
• Lenovo will NOT bill your card until order ships - an authorization charge hold to check for available balance may show up when order is first placed.
• Estimated ship dates are based on default lead time and can vary from what was displayed on website.
• In the US and Canada, Lenovo utilizes UPS for new product shipments
• Orders may ship before the Estimated Ship Date
• Orders may enter through Alaska and pass through Louisville, KY before traveling on to final address
• Cancellation requests may take up to 2 days to process
• Requests to change configuration or other aspects of the order may require the order to be rebooked.
• Lenovo does not accept payment via international credit cards, except AMEX.

I ordered the 64gb model with the pen and the keyboard folio. Hopefully I will see it before the weeks end!

I ordered the 32GB model with Pen and Keyboard.

Also from selection to actual order, ship date went from 8/29 to 9/9.

I wont order one yet, for an entry level 16gb its 500 dollars. Ill wait till they drop prices to around 350 dollars.

As long as cell phones retail for 500 dollars or more, I won't be holding my breath for a sub 500 dollar tablet - unless another company sells off their tablet business like HP.

You mean like the Asus Transformer, Toshiba Thrive and the Acer tablet....

I like the quality that Lenovo brings with it but the price for the entry level is just too expensive to even consider for a relatable consumer product.

For the price+accessories for the entry level tablet I can buy a lenovo laptop that is more efficent.

The two times I bought early [other brands] I got stuck and don't want to make the same mistake again. Lenovo is a new company for me, so all info is important in this decision.

People seem to forget that this is not entry level. The K1 is a better consideration for entry level. The Thinkpad is a business grade tablet and is priced accordingly.

As for as when we will get some hands on for reviews the estimated ship date skyrocketed to about three weeks out. I have classes starting next monday and was hoping with the expedited shipping it would be received by then.
