I ordered 64GB model with Pen, Dock and Folio.  Tracking status shows the estimate shipping date is on Sept. 12th. Why take so long?

probably limited stocks, or that the production haven't ramped up to cater to the demand?

I ordered mine on the 23rd and got a ship date of 9/12/11.

I personally don't see a great need for 3G since I have no intention of getting rid of my smart phone (I carry my phone most everywhere but, I will not be doing the same with the tablet).  I can create a mobile hotspot with my phone to connect the tablet to and there are plenty of free hot spots out there use.

I am really looking forward to the note taking ability.

I also took a chance on ordering mow because I think Lenovo would not want to tarniish the Thinkpad brand in the business community with a unit that is not ready for prime time.

I ordered a 32gb from PCNation @ $547.90 w/ free FedEx 3 day shipping and no tax.  Supposedly, it even comes with the pen.  I called to confirm with ProVantage (same SKU) that this part# comes packaged with the pen, but I wouldn't be surprised if the rep is wrong.  Regardless, it seems to be the best deal around AND in stock.

Was your order with ProVantage processed quickly?  I was about to place my order with them, but I read that they ship from the distribution warehouse to their main facility and then ship to the customer.  Not to mention, the $12.95 for UPS ground shipping.

It shipped same day out of a separate warehouse. The in stock count seems pretty accurate. I ordered yesterday. I am impatient so I paid the $30 for overnight. The estimate said $60, but it changed to $30 at check out. It was shipped within an hour after ordering
