There isn't such an option when connected to USB ...
Please suggest how to copy documents through USB cable between tablet and Windows desktop PC.
Right now it seems USB isn't recognised in tablet as external storage or there is no profile to copy documents.
Perhaps there is some tablet USB setting for this function?
Or do I need some Lenovo or a 3rd party application to copy documents between tablet and PC computer?
Dropbox doesn't work because there is no external connection.
Thanks!

1. Use the USB cable that came with the TPT and the micro-USB port.
2. Make sure this setting is checked;
Settings --> Accounts & Sync --> Allow sync with PC
3. Make sure this setting is bulleted;
Settings --> USB settings --> Transfer files (MTP)

Unfortunately copying documents with MTP fails - there is an error "this is not a media file", when trying to copy word documents or similar.

Just copied all the following files from the TPT to my PC and back via the USB cable;
/mnt/sdcard/Documents/Sample Files/ACME Expense Report.xlsx
/mnt/sdcard/Documents/Sample Files/ACME Presentation.pptx
/mnt/sdcard/Documents/Sample Files/ACME Quote-Word 2003.doc
/mnt/sdcard/Documents/Sample Files/ACME Quote-Word 2007.docx
/mnt/sdcard/Documents/Sample Files/ACME Sales Numbers.xls
It's not the first time I've copied Docs2Go files to/from the PC this way either. However, must confess that I use SSH and WiFi to copy most of the time even though it's 5-7 times slower than USB.

I've done it via usb too, but Wifi is so much easier.
Agreed, heck, I even use WiFi for ADB sessions.

I have checked USB connectivity now on several PC. All PC's have been Windows XP PRO SP3.
To my suprise on some computers I have been able to start copy documents in/out of Lenovo tablet, while on my PC there is an error - "it isn't a multimedia file and this file type isn't supported".
On all PC's there has been installed also WMP 10 or newer.

I used Windows 7 to check in my earlier post but was able to copy the same files to/from Windows XP (WMP 11) just now. Are you still receiving/installing updates on your machine? Maybe you're behind with some relevant update.
