flex T9 keyboard will not update

I had already purchised the flex T9 keyboard before getting my ThinkPad and now the android market always sees the verison pre installed and trys to update it but can't. 

Is there a way to hide the pre installed verion so I can do a full install or can this be fixed in the next rom update?

I'd like the option to remove it. I don't like it and no matter what I do it keeps resetting as the main keyboard. I spend more time fighting with the quiks of this tablet than enjoying it.

Can we please have a voice implementation of the FlexT9?  Really weird that this was installed without.

Please Lenovo

- update your version of Flex T9 and add the voice feature or

- offer us an instruction on how to remove the pre-installed Flex T9

The market version of Flex T9 runs much faster and smoother on my old Motorola Milestone than the pre-installed Lenovo one on the TPT. And I even can't replace the pre-installed one!
