unrooted US tablet with ics battery problem

Just upgraded last night, and for the most part I really like what I see. Unfortunately, its been charging for 12 hours now and went from 41% to 56%. Lenovo, please tell me you haven't written this problem off yet?

I met the same problem. Charged my TPT for more than 12hrs, only increased 30%

Mine is working wonderfully. It is charging very quickly, and the discharge is much slower than on Honeycomb. Maybe a factory reset would work?

Can you see in settings- application - running applications, which apps are active, maybe some of them are the reason? 

Also I saw on another ICS device, that googles playstore is active all the time and there is no option any more to disable syncing in settings.

Maybe it regulary activates the wifi to sync. Switching of WIFI while in standby could change battery discharge....
