RD120 Win2k8 X64 cd-rom drive

I have successfully installed windows 2008 X64 using the easy setup cd, but when the os finally boots I cannot access the contents of any cd or dvd on that drive.

I have updated the firmware with the same drive with a boot cd but still nothing from windows even if on the device manager the drive is ok....

Any suggestions?

Just go on the device manager and double click on the IDE controller that the cd-rom is on, then on the advanced properties tab uncheck the DMA option.
