VERY!!! Noisy Fan of RD240

Hi,

Even at the lowest speed of 30% the 4 fans of the RD240 makes such a noise i can hardly stay longer than 10 minutes in the room where this server is located, in a range of 15meters i still can hear the fans blowing!!! (When running at 100% speed, i cant stay at all in the room)

Are there anyone with the Same problem, or do i have "defective" Fans?

this sounds strange to me. Perhaps there is a defect with the fans. Yo should open a ticket with Lenovo Support Line to double check.

Nothing strange about the question at all, the RD240 is extremely loud!  My rep said is was quiter than the desktop unit. B.S.!!!!  When it first started I thought it was going to blow. Now it is up and running I certainly dont want to be in the same room as it for long.
