We have a number of TS100 servers at various sites. They all have the same issue. Whenever we have an external USB drive plugged in and turn the server on or reboot it, it will not boot in to windows, it just sits at a blinking cursor until i unplug the drive and reboot the server again.
There are no options we can find in the BIOS that let us choose a boot order, or exclude removable devices from the boot options.
Any ideas? Thanks.

The firmware for the server is periodically updated and is available for download
from the Web. Have you checked for the latest level of firmware?
To configure the server, run the Configuration/Setup Utility program.
The Configuration/Setup Utility program is part of the basic input/output system (BIOS) code. You can use this program to configure serial port assignments, change interrupt request (IRQ) settings, change the device startup sequence, set the date and time, and set passwords.
Select the Start Options choice to view or change the startup options. Changes in the start
options take effect when you restart the server. Select the Startup Sequence Options choice to view the Startup Sequence Options menu. The startup sequence specifies the order in which the server checks devices to find a boot record. The server starts from the first boot record that it finds.
Hope that helps.
