Having an issue with a TS430 (044116U) and ESXi 5.0.
The machine has an LSI 9240-8i option installed, and when ESXi boots, it stalls for about 5 minutes trying to load the driver (megaraid_sas) for the raid controller.
Looking at the log file, it seems as tho the card's firmware is in a fault state at boot, when it shouldn't be. The card has the latest LSI firmware installed 20.10.1-0077, actually came with 20.10.1-0029 which was surprising.
I've already disable IRQ Remapping in esx as an attempt to remedy this, with no success.
Looking at VMWare's HCL, both the machine and card are supported, so I don't understand why this is occuring.

Hi,
important is setting in the BIOS, where should be "PCI ROM Priority" set to EFI Compatible ROM.
