While in some cases, newer versions of BIOS may unintentionally introduce new bugs not found in test, in most cases there tends to be little reason to go back to an older version. The majority of BIOS update related issues have come about due to bad or incomplete flashes. You can use the bootable ISO to flash your system - this may be a more reliable approach than using Winphlash.
If you are concerned about being able to roll back, save the old BIOS under a new name during the update process and you can roll back in the future, if needed, simply by renaming the backup and performing the flash with that file.
