D20 (4155CTO) processor upgrade E5506 to X5570

Hi,

 

I have a D20 workstation (4155CTO) with dual E5506 processors.

I'm thinking of upgrading the processors and need to know what I require to move to dual X5570 processors?

welcome to the forum!

 

the existing heatsinks in your system are compatible with the X5570.   all you'll need are the processors and a good thermal compound.   shin-etsu X23-7783D is a good choice.
