Jet fan problem at S20

Hi Ming143,

it shows all videos as it should. Everything works fine. There are no Beeps during the booting process. I already removed the battery from the mainboard as you told, but with no effect. 

You think the graphic card could really cause the problem, that would be bad. I will suggest your idea during my contact with the support, as i dont got one of these graphic cards here. I will report what caused this noisy problem.

I am having the exact same problem on a new (and stock) S20 under no load..

Check the temperature sensor. In my M57 the sensor on cable was bent so it it was touching HDD and therefore the whole system increased fan speeds. If you cannot find it contact AWSP so they can help you.

I had already checked the cables, but they were ok. Actually the temperatures were reported correctly, it was just the fans spinning too fast.

Anyways the newest BIOS update (version 60KT27A), lists in the changes section "Fix Fan speed".

I downloaded and installed it and it's been quite for a while.

I installed this new BIOS to. This seems to be the solution for the problem. 
Cant hear my s20 anymore, great. Lenovo/IBM should have implemented this much earlier.
