RAID question

Hello,

Can somebody help me ?

We have customer who has one 500GB and one 250GB HDD. What about RAID with these two HDD ?.  The 500Gb would be

like 250GB in RAID? (it means that only half of 500GB we can use ? if yes what about another half of 500GB ?). It is possible somehow

downsize the 500GB to 250GB ? What cappacities will be available when we set up RAID with one 500GB and one 200GB disk

as expected, combining a 250 and 500GB drive in RAID would be wasteful.   the 500GB drive's capacity would be cut in half in both RAID 0 and RAID 1.
