sandy bridge

Does anyone know when they will be refreshing the line to include sandy bridge processors? I hear the new i7-2600 and E3-1280 have substantial power gains over their previous generation for the same price.  Will the new model be the S21 or the S30?????  I'm ready to buy a new workstation but I don't want to buy old tech, unless they really cut the price.  I guess I could build one, but Lenovo's case is much nicer than anything I can buy.

Re: sandy bridge

I obviously can't go into specifics, but it's a pretty safe bet that we will not launch anything prior to Intel launching the new chipsets and CPUs.  History should serve as a pretty decent guide.

The follow-ons are pretty logical....S20 follow-on would be S30, etc.  The CPUs you're referring to would fall into the E20 follow-on space I believe.
