Battery maintenance, is there any way to quick charge the battery?

I'm trying to extend battery life and using my notebook with custom charge thresholds for that. (Start when below 40% & stop at 50%). But sometimes I'd like to charge it full, when I know that I won't have AC connection for a few hours.

 

Now I have to start the Power Manager, go to Battery Maintenance and change the charge mode. Is there any simpler way to make a fully charged battery, but only when it is necessary?
