Battery meter - disappeared and cannot restore

Hi

I used to have the battery meter (the one like a battery on its side) along the bottom of the display (is that the task tray or the tool tray?).

For reasons unknown, the meter no longer appears.  This is somewhat inconvenient.  How do I bring this back, i.e.. Restore the meter so that it appears along the bottom of the screen?

I have looked in the ThinkVantage Help center but it didn't help on this point.

(Please excuse my lack of knowledge and possibly poor terminology.)

On my T61 w/XP Pro it's like this:

Control Panel -> Power Manager (I have v1.88) -> Advanced -> Options -> Show Power Manager Gauge in task bar (checkbox).
