in case the Burning drive is still not shown in the Burning sw, but it's visible in the Device manager, then do it following way: - delete the driver for this Burning drive from in Device manager
- reboot the machine
- this will force the system to reinstall your burning drive and will recognize it.
It's bad to hear, that you have so much pain with your system. It's bad, byt trust me, that once it will run then it will run like hell
If you call Lenovo tech support and explain the problem, they will probably send you a recovery disc set in the mail. One problem with this, is you never really know if the discs work, until you have to use them
